Laserfab is pleased to introduce LOYD; Laserfab On Your Desktop. The new tool offers accurate estimates with minimal information from the customer. It is the quickest way to estimate a simple project requiring laser cutting and forming.

LOYD was initially being developed for use by the Laserfab sales team to handle quick phone quotes and informal estimates. At some point it became obvious this tool would be much more powerful in the hands of the customers. LOYD will not be replacing any of our current quoting processes, but it will be a helpful resource for customers when picking up the phone or waiting for a response through email is not fast enough.

Utilizing Microsoft Excel, LOYD estimates parts by running customer supplied information through the same formulas Laserfab uses for formal quotes. These formulas are all working behind the scenes so only pertinent information is displayed. It really does keep things simple.
